Eucational project
The educational project carried out by PMI Romania Chapter, inspired by the Project Kids Adventures series written by Gary M. Nelson, has arrived in Galați, Iași and Bucharest!🎉Project management principles from the two volumes translated into Romanian📖 „The tree house – The supreme project”
📖 „The haunted house – The scariest project!”came back to life in front of the children, through interactive presentations and discussions about:
🎯 what is a project
🧩 how we plan the steps
🤝 why teamwork makes the difference
⚠️ what are risks and how we manage themIn Galați, Iași and Bucharest, our colleagues Catalina Ene, PMP, PSM1, Oana P. and Razvan Ichim were the ones who carried forward the energy of the project and transformed „serious” concepts into lessons understandable to the little ones.In a short interview, Cătălina, one of the volunteers involved in organizing these workshops, best captured the real impact of the experience:„It wasn’t just about the children’s joy in building houses. Beyond the practical side, they learned to organize themselves, truly take on their roles, and be careful with the budget, making sure they didn’t run out of resources by the end. All these challenges inspired them enormously.”At the end of the activities, the children participated in a lessons learned session, where they reflected on how they collaborated, drawing extremely realistic and mature conclusions. From the organizers’ perspective, it was precisely this ability to adapt that was most impressive.„I’ve seen very well-knit teams from the beginning, but also groups where different personalities met. For us, it was simply fascinating to observe how they managed these moments at their age and how they found a way to understand each other in order to build together,” added Cătălina.A very special moment was the spontaneous intervention of Cătălina’s daughter during the interview. A participant in the workshop, she was eager to share, full of enthusiasm, how much she enjoyed the experience — especially the joy of working together, as a true team.”
